Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the water cooler…again…acclaimed horror podcast CASUALTY FRIDAY is resurrected, reborn, and better than ever!
Created and hosted by celebrated genre icons Tiffany Shepis (VICTOR CROWLEY, STAR TREK: PICARD), Felissa Rose (SLEEPAWAY CAMP, TERRIFIER 2), and Kane Hodder (The FRIDAY THE 13TH and HATCHET series), CASUALTY FRIDAY is an ongoing discussion series about the hurdles and hijinks of bringing the world’s favorite frights to life.
After an initial run of episodes from 2019-2021, fan fervor and constant demand has pushed the trio of hosts to return to the airwaves with a newly revamped version of their show, their way.
…and though the new series marks a welcome return of old friends, the hosts caution that this is no mere horror sequel or remake…but rather an evolution.
“Of course, horror fans will like the show,” says Tiffany Shepis, “but really anyone who’s watched and enjoyed a movie can tune in. Real life people, real life stories, real life madness.”
From firsthand accounts of on-set silliness to convention mishaps and everything in between, no topic is taboo when this group of friends gets together to wax nostalgic about their varied careers in showbiz.
“I love chatting with my amazing friends about all things horror and beyond!” says Felissa Rose. “It’s the perfect space to catch us without our masks on! The podcast for everyone about everything!”
“There’s nothing better or bloodier than getting to talk horror trash with some of the best maniacs in the business,” adds Shepis.
What’s more, in addition to the deep dive discussions and special guests listeners are used to, the show promises all new thrills and chills, including audience Q&As, special correspondents, and more.
“CASUALTY FRIDAY is my favorite time of the week,” says Kane Hodder, who encourages fans to “…hang up the machete, grab a beer, and give it a listen.”
This latest incarnation of CASUALTY FRIDAY is produced by Michael Varrati (THERE’S A ZOMBIE OUTSIDE) and Brendan Haley (Netflix’s EASTSIDERS), alongside returning producer Matt Manjourides (THE LAST DRIVE-IN WITH JOE BOB BRIGGS), and promises to push boundaries with deep dive discussions, never before heard recollections, and so much more.
“No glitz and glamour,” says Tiffany Shepis, “…just blood, guts, babes and the occasional boob.”
CASUALTY FRIDAY will debut on Friday, February 16th, 2024, and new episodes will be released every other week following on all major podcast platforms.
