Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Ryan Kwanten star in the spine-chilling mystery thriller THE PORTRAIT, being released on digital platforms in the UK & Ireland from 11 December.
After her husband is devastated by a tragic accident, a devoted wife obsesses over a mysterious portrait that resembles him as he was; but when it starts to terrorise her, she must decide if it’s possessed or if she’s losing her mind.
For his feature debut, director Simon Ross has lined up a number of superb horror genre stars – Natalia Cordova-Buckley (Bates Motel), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Virginia Madsen (Candyman) – for this genuinely creepy and unsettling story, written by David Griffiths (Collateral Damage), of a strange painting that seems to contain a sinister power.
Horror fans who enjoyed Hereditary and Talk To Me will definitely want to have a good look at THE PORTRAIT – but don’t fall under its spell!!
