Crowdfunder launched for The Witching Season II

A crowdfunding campaign has been launched for the second season of the Halloween-themed anthology series The Witching Season II.

This time around, the sinister storytelling includes…

  • A little creature story.
  • A grim fable about death.
  • A classic vampire tale.
  • A scarecrow story from out of this world.
  • An 80s-style slasher with a psychological twist.

Whereas The Witching Season only had loose connections between episodes, every segment of The Witching Season II will have direct connections to the other stories surrounding it, creating a bit of extra fun and intrigue for those who pay attention to the gory details!

The series will once again be written and directed by series showrunner Michael Ballif (Jack-O’-Slime, Vamp Night, Halloween Special) and James Morris (Grim Pact, The Vessel). Expect to see familiar faces from their previous sinister endeavors and newcomers who have ventured into the shadows during the making of He Never Left.

The funds raised will go to cover the following expenses:

  • Paying the Cast & Crew: First and foremost, it is our priority to fairly compensate those who share their amazing talents with us. Indie film requires a lot of long hours and hard work, and taking care of those who make that sacrifice is our top priority.
  • Equipment Upgrades: Our technical capabilities continue to grow and we routinely invest in the latest gear to enable ease of production and higher production value.
  • Production Costs: Props, costumes, food, transportation, and rental costs (these things add up over the course of production).
  • Post-Production Costs: Sound design, music composition, editing, etc. All of these things take a lot of time to achieve theatrical quality, and we certainly don’t want to cut any corners in these areas.
