Infamous Halloween novelisation getting illustrated re-release

One of the most notorious novelisation in horror is getting an illustrated re-release in 2024.

Curtis Richards’ sought-after adaptation of John Carpenter’s Halloween, with illustrations from Orlando Arocena, will be released by Printed in Blood in January 2024.

This 224-page volume is bursting with both classic and gorgeous new artistic visions of the John Carpenter horror classic.

This Limited Edition cover features the classic paperback cover art re-created by Orlando.

Produced under license with Compass International Pictures and with the full cooperation of the original author, Richard Curtis (who penned the original novel under the name Curtis Richards).

The novelisation, released in 1983, takes liberties with the source material with multiple differences to the film, including the hint of a cult that could be guiding the Shape’s actions plus some back story on both Michael and Laurie that could mesh it together with Halloween II (1981) fairly seamlessly.

This limited edition will be a must-have for Halloween fans, with pre-orders starting from 1 October 2023.
