Well that’s the case in the early moments of the short film Ride Baby Ride, with filmmaker Sofie Somoroff really zeroing in on the lecherous nature of the men selling this beat-up vehicle.
Once in the garage, she discovers there may be more to this hunk of junk than she bargained for.
The obvious reference here is Stephen King’s Christine, but this time it could be the owner in mortal danger before anyone else.
There is an intrusive and perverted nature to this car and whatever is inhabiting it. A brutal and bloody short that mixes up an established story and gives it a fuel injection.
