A cinema and digital release has been confirmed for queer horror thriller The Latent Image on 8 October 2023.
A handsome stranger appears at a young thriller writer’s cabin deep in the American wilderness. Mysterious, intriguing, attractive and terrifying, has he found the perfect inspiration for his new book or are his darkest fantasies about to come to life?
THE LATENT IMAGE is a claustrophobic queer chiller that marks the theatrical feature debut of Liverpool-born filmmaker, Alexander McGregor Birrell. Shot in and around, It is based on a short film he directed. It won him a best feature nomination at Miami’s OUTShine Film Festival.
