When someone has been kidnapped surely a myriad of scenarios are going through their head but do many go to the supernatural for answers?
Paula Boffo and Patricio Plaza’s micro-animated short Santa Sombra deals with a woman who begins praying to a pagan saint to help her escape.
Almost like a mini revenge tale, Santa Sombra flips the expected narrative and really goes for the jugular once the saint answers her pleas.
To say the aftermath is blood-soaked would be an understatement.
Its ultra-short but definitely entertaining.
