Camp (Fantasia Fest 2023) review

Camp must feel like the right time to do things that could have really bad repercussions.

Whether its accidentally reawaken serial killers from watery graves or playing with a Ouija board; those pesky kids will always get into something.

So we come to Bronson Allen’s micro-short Camp, which sees three girls mess with a Ouija board and what do you know, something awful is summoned.

First thing to say, is that the score for Camp is excellent and really soars at the right moments, and Allen really turns it up a notch when you think you are just watching a standard possession film.

Camp has a real edge to it.

Camp screens as part of Fantasia Fest 2023.
