What would you say if you had the opportunity to interview Jason Voorhees?
This is the premise of Catherine Cote-Moisescu’s micro-short Serial Encounters, with a news reporter pitted against Crystal Lake’s most famous son.
While the film initially pokes fun at the muddled timeline of the Friday films, we quickly take a detour into Jason’s home life, as he just tries to get along between the killing.
He even butters his bread with a machete!
We get to find out what drives Jason and also his hidden musical tastes, which are questionable at best…
Given the narrative of the short, it also promises further capers with more of our favourite slashers…
