A brand new horror short is set to start filming in northwestern Illinois at the end of July.
In The Middle of the Night, directed by Jarod Hussey, will be filmed in the historic Mount Carroll in Illinois.
The short will follow the events of Jobe, who is all around tired of life and the fallacies that he’s had to face.
He meets a strange woman portrayed by Magdalena Conway. Betty is a cheerful soul and leads Jobe on a grave-robbing adventure to steal precious artefacts and items and fence those items to her grandmother.
Along their journey, they face undead and demonic, treacherous foes.
Jobe’s trusty shovel is always by his side and ready to knock down the forces of evil!
In The Middle of the Night is set for release on 30 October 2023, will Hussey hoping to make the film into a feature-length film down the line.
