Olivia Hussey returns to Black Christmas in It’s Me Billy Part 2!

The team behind the Black Christmas fan and tribute film, It’s Me, Billy, have launched their Indiegogo campaign to help raise funds for It’s Me, Billy Chapter 2: A Black Christmas Fan Film.

Jess is Alive!
Hidden deep within the walls of Jess Bradford’s mansion lies the evidence that will exonerate her former boyfriend Peter Smythe and expose the real 1974 Bedford killers. Picking up immediately where chapter 1 ended, Sam and her grandmother, now trapped and alone, must fight back against the clutches of Christmas evil before they’re swallowed by its darkness.

Distinguished Hollywood actress Olivia Hussey (Romeo and Juliet, Black Christmas, Stephen King’s mini-series IT, and Psycho 4) will return to her final girl roots and play Jess Bradford in the film.

Black Christmas alumni Lynne Griffin (Black Christmas, Curtains, Strange Brew) who played Clare in the original film, returns to play Nancy (Clare’s sister) who is hellbent on solving her sister’s 50 year old cold case.

Victoria Mero will return as Sam, the granddaughter of Jess Bradford, Caro Coltman will return as Agnes, and Bryan Charles Peter as the infamous Billy.

Directed by Canadian filmmaking duo Dave McRae and Bruce Dale, It’s Me, Billy Chapter 2 serves as the second and final installment in their Black Christmas tribute series, honoring the legacy of one of the most important characters and films in the genre. It’s Me, Billy Chapter 1 was nominated for Best Cinematography in the Dramatic Short Category at the 65h annual CSC (Canadian Society of Cinematographers) Awards.

It’s Me, Billy (2021) was always designed to be the first part of a two-part story, hence the cliffhanger ending. It was always our hope that we’d get a chance to complete our vision and bring this story to a conclusion. Now is that time. We are excited to invite horror fans from around the world to help us complete the final step of our journey, one that will continue to pay honor and respect to the incredible legacy of the original Black Christmas and everyone involved in the making of that film,” McRae and Dale commented.

“It is an absolute honor, and we are beyond thrilled to have Olivia Hussey a part of the project. Although she is known for so many wonderful roles over the years, it is her portrayal of Jess Bradford (one of horror’s first final girls) that has meant so much to horror fans around the world, us included. It only felt right to pay tribute to this character by bringing Olivia on board.”

It’s Me, Billy Chapter 2 is a not-for-profit fan and tribute film honoring the legacy of the 1974 Canadian classic. The film will be made available for free online once completed.
