I think we can all agree as horror fans, that Halloween is the best time of year.
It is also, given the age of influencers, prime time for someone to get cancelled.
This is the initial premise of Christopher Guerrero’s horror short, which sees an influencer try to attain new followers in the Mexican community with a post around Day of the Dead (the day after Halloween for the unanointed).
After her post starts to offend, pretty much everyone things take a supernatural turn; will the spirits punish her for her culture insensitivity?
Despite being under five minutes, Guerrero’s short is packed full of laughs plus at least one great scare.
Canceled is a fantastic short that will get you counting the days down to Halloween or Day of the Dead depending on your preference.
