We get hints that something gooier and potentially otherworldly is going on in the flats, as we get flashes of what looks like some sort of tentacle.
Sucker gives us an interesting subversion though as we expect all hell to break loose but the sisters are reunited – what has happened here?
This is as much about body horror as it is about the broken relationship between the sisters, which makes for an interesting stand-off dynamic.
Suitably gory and slimy, Sucker is a fascinating watch leaving you with plenty of questions but not in a bad way; if anything you will be left clambering for more.
The real message here is definitely close your toilet lid, as you don’t know what could crawl up it.
