David Roncone’s short is peppered with a fantastic and suspenseful score and employs the Hitchcock ‘bomb under the table’ motif as tension rises about a real threat coming from the box.
There is also some fantastic creature SFX work here which seems to blend practical effects with CGI.
Pulling no punches, Stuck feels like a complete story with a real sting in the tail.
