The Rage Part II review

After screening the first part of the action POV zombie horror The Rage, we got the chance to see its world premiere at the recent Bloody Flicks Awards.

Like many good sequels, the second part of The Rage carries on immediately from the final frame of the last film making it feel like a complete story.

Director Joshua Cleave, presumably employing Go Pro’s to capture the POV style crafts some high-octane action plus some great tension.

The Rage Part II plays like an ongoing nightmare often seen in horror computer games, where you never feel like a character is truly safe as danger could be right around the corner.

The Rage was The Raid, then Part II is The Raid 2 amps up the runtime to just over 40 minutes, but aims to pack in more crazy scenarios which you will wonder how they have been pulled off a limited budget.

Just when you may be feeling zombie fatigue, The Rage Part 2 is here to remind you there’s plenty of gas left in the tank yet.

The Rage Part II screened as part of the Bloody Flicks Awards 2023.
