Troma’s surreal body horror Friend of the World has been released on Apple TV.
After a catastrophic war, an eccentric general guides a filmmaker through a ravaged bunker.
“Friend of the World” premiered at the 2020 Oceanside International Film Festival before being acquired by Troma Entertainment. It has a unique 50-minute runtime similar to 2020’s “Host” and 2022’s “Werewolf by Night” from Marvel Studios.
The film is now available for rental or purchase by a global audience on Apple TV and iTunes. This is the first time it can be streamed in its native 4K resolution.
