Does Halloween Ends have 2 different endings?

Jamie Lee Curtis has confirmed via social media that Halloween Ends will screen in cinemas and release simultaneously on Peacock from 14 October 2022.

Four years after her last encounter with masked killer Michael Myers, Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter and trying to finish her memoir. Myers hasn’t been seen since, and Laurie finally decides to liberate herself from rage and fear and embrace life.

However, when a young man is accused of murdering a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to confront the evil she can’t control.

Interestingly, Curtis mentions during the 2:43 minutes video that fans may want to watch the film both in cinemas plus on the streaming channel. Does this hint at potentially two different versions of the film?

This has been hinted at in the Halloween series, with Rick Rosenthal wanting to give alternative endings to other screenings of Halloween: Resurrection back in 2002.

We know that there have been two very different test screenings of Halloween Ends, so perhaps Blumhouse and Trancas are hedging their bets and giving fans the best of both worlds.

Perhaps, one ending where Laurie prevails and the other where the Shape stands tall.

We will find out on 14 October, when Halloween Ends is released in cinemas and streaming on Peacock.
