Psychological shark thriller ‘From The Depths’ has been announced by ITN Distribution, with a planned release in 2020.
Made for just $30,000 this thriller will mix the unique styles of the Sharknado series with flashes of David Lynch.
After surviving a shark attack a young woman is plagued by nightmares of being stalked in the dark sea by a ravenous predator, and hallucinations of visits from her sister and boyfriend, both who were killed in the attack.
The trailer very much depicts an attack survivor dealing with survivor guilt with hints of something more sinister afoot as she battles her demons. We often see shark attack movies but not many that deal with the aftermath, which makes From the Depths unique in itself. Colour us intrigued.
