Girls Night review

Girls Night.jpg

David Teixeira’s Girls Night is a short French horror with some moments of genuine creepiness.

It’s almost half slasher and half urban legend, as a group of three girls decide to dabble in some scary storytelling, not knowing that real horror could be waiting for me.

The killer wears an extremely creepy human mask with a twisted smile and blonde wig, concealing their identity. The opening reveal of this person echoes ‘Halloween’ as it waits curiously outside and watches one of the unsuspecting girls before giving her a fright.

Although the finale lacks a real gut punch, this is a promising debut from Teixeira who is currently working on a follow up.
