London’s Secret Haunted Bar adds spooky cocktail menu

London’s haunted and secret speakeasy – Old Mary’s at Lancaster Gate – is giving you an extra special reason to be spooked this summer.

To celebrate the Home Premiere of the new horror movie Tarot, the talented team are bringing you a menu of limited-edition Tarot-inspired cocktails. From now to the 21st July, you will be able to take your pick from a scary selection of concoctions to get you in the mood.

Tarot tells the tale of a group of unwitting friends who have their horoscopes read using a deck of cursed Tarot cards, with their dreary readings soon becoming a sinister, baneful reality when an evil force is unleashed from the deck. One by one, the friends confront their doomed prophecies as they enter a race against time to prevent the gory death tally from rising any further…

Located below The Mitre pub, the eerily named Old Mary’s takes its name from the resident ghost, a former mistress of the building’s one-time owner Lord Craven, who was found murdered in the scullery.

Cocktails inspired by the film’s ghouls include The High Priestess – a take on the traditional Dark n’ Stormy – and The Hermit – a vodka martini with black glitter.

Head down to Old Mary’s in Lancaster Gate and try a blood-curdling cocktail if you dare!
